A native of St. Louis, MO, Tess Scalise attended Webster University in St. Louis (BA, psychology, 1988). She began her career as a researcher for the Department of Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO, but by 1993, joined ReMax Mid-States Dixie Region (Jackson, MS/Kansas City, MO) as a franchise sales consultant. In 1995, she became a management consultant at ReMax International, St. Louis, MO, and was named senior management consultant by 2000. During this time, she earned her MBA from Maryville University, St. Louis, (1998).
In 2001, Tess was named assistant regional director for ReMax International, St. Louis, MO, and by 2003, became regional director of ReMax International in Denver, CO. Later that year, she was named regional vice president, a position she would hold for the next four years.
In autumn of 2009, Tess joined Coldwell Banker (Western Region serving seven states) as an executive business consultant, using her many years of managerial skills to guide and advise the company on its franchisee offerings, continuing education, mergers and acquisitions and other aspects of the real estate industry.
In 2013, she returned to ReMax in the company’s Cherry Creek office (Denver). She has served as president, employing broker and co-owner of that company since 2013.
Actively involved in her community, she has served as a director and chair for the Junior League of Denver and as a volunteer for many other area programs.
An avid golfer and sailor, Tess enjoys traveling, reading and painting and has completed two marathons and many half marathons. Tess and her husband, Tony, are excited to have made Naples their home.
